An active figure in the New York exploratory electronic scene of the 80s, Michele Mercure recently saw portions of her independent catalog reissued under RVNG Intl – synthetic pieces with nocturnal, minimalist and dreamy qualities. Recently unveiled by the album Au loin au large, launched via the esteemed French scout La Souterraine, Météo Ciel Bleu will present their experimental rock reminiscent of electronic in an augmented full band format, through 16mm projections by local filmmaker Charles-André Coderre. Having recently worked on the string quartet adaptation of Alex Zhang Hungtai’s Divine Weight at the last edition of the Red Bull Music Festival, Marianne H will premiere her own chamber music compositions. DJing before, between, and after: DJ Xenakiss, alias of Montrealer Marie-Douce Saint-Jacques (half of Le Fruit Vert and visual artist), with minimalist repetitions and motorik tracks.
