OUR SPOKESPERSON

We’re very proud to announce that chef Jean-Michel Leblond, aka. John Mike, will be the official spokesperson for Cabane Panache 2025! Owner of the Tripes & Caviar restaurant on Promenade Wellington from 2013 to 2016, he’s been holding Verdun and Rue Wellington close to his heart ever since! You can catch him on his own ”chef John Mike” show on Zeste or listen to his latest EP Good to the Bone on streaming platforms.

He embodies the very essence of the event, and will bring his energy and passion to the biggest maple and wood party in town! Yeehaw! 🤠🪕

“Verdun has always held a special place in my life, both personally and professionally. I had the honor of being part of it with my first restaurant Tripes et Caviar, and today it’s with great emotion that I become associated with this event that celebrates culinary art, culture and community. I’m convinced that the 13th edition of Cabane Panache will be an extraordinary experience, and I’m proud to be a part of it.”

Jean-Michel Leblond

Anaïs Constantin
Coming soon!

Ici Pneu Touchette Stage

Corner of Willibrord and Wellington streets

Born in Sherbrooke and raised by a single mother in a turquoise living room missing two feet of wallpaper, Anaïs Constantin fires her bittersweet poetry over chill lofi tenor-baritone guitar riffs.

A fan of hot dogs and underdogs, she celebrates the absurdity of the cosmos and the world that makes do with very little from a quirky, introspective perspective.

Somewhere between Courtney Barnett and Beau Dommage, her indie-queb “Do It Yourself” music runs on 2000s nostalgia and envelops with the comfort of a roadside cantina.

Performing live, equipped with an old drum machine and surrounded by her musicians, Anaïs delivers an authentic, rallying performance that reaches a wide audience. Her no-nonsense voice, at once gentle and casual, tells the story of everyday life with self-mockery and tenderness, in a straight-talking way that bears witness to her love for the language and its colorful regionalisms.

In addition, the musician won the 2024 edition of the cabaret Festif! Baie-Saint-Paul cabaret.

You're always in several places at once, adapting like a chameleon? Are you energetic and versatile? We need your efficiency to help the volunteer manager and replace other volunteers during breaks.

Assistance with cultural programming

You have a reputation for memorizing the entire cultural program of the greater Montreal area, and do you get your adrenalin from the crowds? We need your quick wit for show business-related tasks: stage management, stage, dressing rooms. The show must go on, they say!

Games entertainment & animation

You're known for your boundless enthusiasm, and a party isn't worth attending without you? We need your drive and leadership to host and supervise old-fashioned games like boot field hockey and tug-of-war.
*Saturday and Sunday only

Site maintenance

You're known for keeping everything in its place? Do you like to feel a sense of accomplishment after shoveling a good load of snow? We need your dedication to a job well done to keep the site nice and clean.

Sorting station

You're the eco-freak of the gang, you know the different plastic numbers by heart, and you know which bin to put your wooden fork in? Come and lend a hand to festival-goers by ensuring the proper management of residual materials in a fun and pleasant way during the event!

Photographer's assistant

Are you always on the lookout to take photos of different things, and enjoy a game of seek-and-find? We need your eagle eye to take pictures of the items on our list! *Please note that you need to bring your own equipment; cell phone photos will do just fine // 2-hour shift on Saturday.

Headquarters support

You love caring for others and entertaining at home? We need your selflessness and hospitality skills to help us run the event headquarters. You'll be assisting in the kitchen, helping to serve food to other volunteers and the team, making sure there's always hot coffee and keeping the space nice and welcoming.

50/50 volunteer

Are you a social butterfly who isn't afraid to talk to new people at parties? We need your charisma to help us fill Cabane Panache's 50/50 lottery jackpot with festival-goers!

In exchange you will receive...

- Meals and coffee provided
- Free coupons to sample culinary specialties on site
- Free beanie to keep your head warm
- Our eternal gratitude for helping to make the event a success
- A weekend of great atmosphere, good spirits and lots of memories!
