Cabane Panache 2023 – 11th edition

From March 23 to 26, for its 11th edition, Cabane Panache will set up its camp on Wellington Street and the biggest maple and wood party in town will make you want to party hard!

What could be better than festive music to get your rubber boots jiggling, good food to fill your belly, spirits to quench your thirst and good maple taffy on snow to glue your mittens together? 🧤

This year, we’re preparing an edition that will transport you back to the good old days of big feasts and long evenings! We’re starting up the boilers again and as the temperature rises, the sap makes its way to the camp where lumberjacks, cooks, giguers and coureurs des bois are ready to welcome the whole company to tap their feet and sweeten their beaks.

Get your plaid coat ready, it’s going to be a swingin’ good time!

The main stage music lineup and menus just came out of the boiler, beware, it’s still hot! 🔥

We still have a few surprises in our back pocket for entertain you and for your long adventures in the next trail!

Urban Science Brass Band reinvents hip-hop classics with the intensity and spark of a surprise street performance. Imagine a New Orleans-style brass band - trumpets, saxophones, trombones, sousaphones, tubas - with a repertoire that includes Dr. Dre or Kendrick Lamar - complete with multilingual MCs on megaphones, mobile drummers and street dancers. In a miniature version with 10 artists, they'll be roaming the Well to get the party going!

Qualité Motel is the side project of the members of Valaire. Created to stir up crowds in every imaginable context, the group has quickly established itself as a reference in Quebec's electronic music scene.

Revelation of the new guard of Quebec rap and a most authentic heterogeneous mix, LaF is a francophone rap group from Montreal that brings together three MCs with very distinct voices and three rhythmic designers. Their hip-hop album "Citadelle", unanimously acclaimed by the media, features soul, jazz and sometimes pop sounds and offers lyrics that are resolutely anchored in emotionality. The songs reflect the group's wide-ranging influences, from Quebec indie rock to European rap. Inspired by all his travels and artistic encounters, his love for music and entertainment is evident in his spirited, friendly and wild performances.

Sound management of the event

Cabane Panache is working hard to reduce its ecological footprint! All containers for bars, restaurants, utensils and taffy sticks will be compostable! We will also recycle all the beautiful cans of Cimonak and other malted drinks.

You will find the volunteers from the Maison de l’Environnement at the Energir sorting stations to help you choose the right bin! Did you know that you could heat your cabin in a way that respects the planet with your food waste?
