Fanfare Jarry is a collective of 9 Montreal musicians inspired by the fanfares of Eastern Europe.
This brass, woodwind and percussion ensemble offers a repertoire of traditional Balkan pieces as well as original compositions by its founder, Charles Duquette.
Founded in the summer of 2012, this young brass band aims to offer the public a lively and diverse musical experience. The marriage of clarinets, trumpets, saxophones, euphoniums, a tuba and percussion creates an intoxicating richness of sound that leaves no one indifferent.
The energy of this group’s musicians is contagious. Fanfare Jarry promises an emotionally-charged experience in a highly festive, high-octane atmosphere.
