Collectif Danza Descalza presents IMPULSO, an Afro-Colombian-inspired contemporary dance work designed for public spaces, which pays tribute to human strength and perseverance. The work invites the audience into an emotional experience, transported by the performers’ movements, imbued with gentleness, joy, ecstasy and contagious vitality.

Connected by an immense red cloth, symbolizing the common web of our humanity, the performers move through this fabric, which at once transports, shapes and transforms them, fusing with a rich, rousing musical score from an original composition by Rachel Therrien. The piece will be presented by three dance performers, accompanied by two live musicians.

An introductory dance workshop on the theme of the work will follow the show.
