Évenement
As part of Fierté Montréal, which runs from August 3 to 13, 2023, get ready for a colorful evening of pride to celebrate the progress of the 2SLGBTQI+ communities.
The Queen of Verdun, Misty Waterfalls, will be back on Promenade Wellington on Friday, August 4, 2023, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., to host a bingo evening filled with exchanges and surprises. Get your lucky charms and good-luck rituals ready, because there will be lots of Promenade Wellington merchant prizes to be won! All materials will be provided, so just bring your energy and a chair if you need one.
The evening will continue with LGBTQ+ poetry readings by artists Chris Bergeron, Flore Fauve, Jade Gagne-Lavoie, Meryem Yildiz and Zach Poitras on the small grounds of the presbytery of Église Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs.
This will be followed by a screening of the documentary “Le dernier placard – Vieillir gai” by Dany Turcotte (2023), preceded by a short film (title to be confirmed), all in a convivial and inclusive atmosphere.
More details to come. Stay tuned and follow the event on Facebook so you don’t miss a thing!
