The Carrefour jeunesse-emploi de Verdun is a non-profit organization whose mission is the socio-professional integration of young people aged 15 to 35, regardless of their economic situation. They offer specialized services of evaluation of the needs, intervention, reference and follow-up, and this, in the respect of their individuality to improve their quality of life.
Summary of duties:
- Greet individuals who present themselves and provide excellent customer service.
- Answer phones and direct calls to counselors.
- Complete forms for appointment scheduling.
- Performs other office duties as requested by Consultants such as photocopying, faxing, emailing, word processing, etc.
- Enter data into the computer (resumes, cover letters, etc.)
- Provide general information to customers.
Requirements:
- Experience in the profession.
- DEP in secretarial or related training.
- Good knowledge of Internet and MS Office software.
- Very good written French.
- Excellent judgement.
- Professionalism, discretion and courtesy.
- Bilingualism required (English/French).
Work schedule :
- Tuesday evenings from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. (3.5 hours/week) from September to June, as well as sporadic replacements when the full-time secretary-receptionist is absent or on vacation (weekdays, during the day, for a total of approximately 45 days per year).
- Salary: According to the salary scale of the collective agreement (between $19.08 and $25.67 per hour)
