Le TOLEDO is a traditional French bakery and patisserie located in the heart of the Plateau Mont-Royal and Verdun, producing a wide range of natural sourdough breads and viennoiseries, handcrafted over long fermentations, as well as a fine array of pastries and a wide range of savoury products.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

Under the supervision of the Pastry Chef, you will perform the following tasks:

  • Preparation of pastry products;
  • Responsibility for consistent product quality;
  • Participation in the development of new products;
  • Inventory management and material ordering;
  • Carrying out daily cleaning tasks at your respective stations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • DEP (Diplôme d’étude professionnelle), CAP (Certificat d’aptitude professionnelle) or CQP in a related field;
  • 2 to 5 years pastry experience required;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Able to communicate in French with colleagues.

WORKING CONDITIONS :

  • Full-time, daytime position;
  • An average of 37.5 hours per week spread over 4 or 5 days: one day of availability on the weekend is mandatory;
  • 4 weeks paid vacation per year, starting in the first year;
