With the holiday season fast approaching, Promenade Wellington invites young and old alike to enjoy the warm, festive atmosphere of Pôle Well, a unique place where tradition, enchantment and local spirit meet.
This year, the Well is decorated in its finest attire and lights for a memorable holiday season!
Lights on the trees and in the street, glittering window displays, festive music… Promenade Wellington guarantees an atmosphere worthy of Christmas tales. What would Pôle Well be without its iconic giant Christmas tree? For the fourth year, we’ve collaborated with the Marois family, producers of sustainable fir trees in the Eastern Townships for several generations. This year, our majestic 42-foot double-trunk conifer stands proudly in front of Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs church.
Take a stroll on the street to admire the merchant’s beautifully decorated displays. Their originality and creativity impresses us every year! And to add to the atmosphere, more than twenty displays have been decorated by artist Hemma Lagadec. Look out for her drawings!
Is there anything more magical than a shopping spree at the Pôle Well, accompanied by holiday carols? We don’t think so!
This year, come clap your hands and let yourself be transported by the songs of Imani Gospel, who will be bringing joy to the forecourt of Église Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs on Sunday, December 8. You can also enjoy the voices of the Carte Blanche quartet to light up your heart during your holiday shopping on Saturday, December 14. Click on the choir names for detailed schedules.
