Lights on the trees and in the street, glittering windows and festive music… Promenade Wellington is decked out in its finest holiday attire to ensure an atmosphere worthy of Christmas tales.
Take the time to admire the shop windows decorated by the merchants, who demonstrate their originality and creativity every year! And to add to the atmosphere, more than twenty businesses will have their windows decorated by local illustrator Youloune.
For the third year in a row, the Pôle Well giant Christmas tree arrives from the Marois family, who have been growing fir trees in the Cantons-de-l’Est for several generations. Standing proudly in front of Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs church, our giant Christmas tree is as beautiful as it is eco-friendly!
Sustainable development and eco-responsibility are major commitments for us and for the Caisse Desjardins de l’Île-des-Soeurs-Verdun. That’s why we’ve worked hard to ensure that the giant tree will continue to live on even after the holidays. So it’ll be part of the neighborhood for a little while longer!

Is there anything more magical than a shopping session at the Pôle Well, topped off with holiday carols? We don’t think so!
This year, two dazzling choirs will be on Promenade Wellington to brighten up your holiday shopping on Friday, December 8 and Saturday, December 9. There will be several performances a day, at various locations along the street! Click on the choirs’ names for detailed schedules.

The tradition goes on! Once again this year, the famous sale of natural fir trees will be held at the corner of Galt and Wellington to benefit the Harmonie Richelieu de Verdun.
Join us in the courtyard of the presbytery of Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs church to brighten up your holidays and scent your home with the perfect conifer! Wreaths, balsam firs and branches will be on sale in a warm and festive atmosphere.

La Echanted Alley is back with a completely immersive and grandiose new setting!
Worthy of a winter fairytale, it’s the perfect place to come and take a photo with your loved ones and immortalize the 2023 holiday season. Don’t forget to use #PromenadeWellington and #VerdunLuv if you share them!

Two resplendent Christmas villages have been set up and are well worth the detour when you visit Pôle Well!
First, follow the magic of the festive season to the Church of Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs, where an imposing 400 sq. ft. Christmas village, complete with boutiques, booths, funfair and characters, shines brightly.
The church’s warm, cosy ambience creates an enchanting experience for all. It’s much more than a simple visit, it’s an immersion in the festive spirit that transforms this sacred space into an unforgettable place for sharing.

When: until December 23, Thursdays and Fridays, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. (except on show nights) and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Now true to form, Maçonnerie Gratton shares its passion for Christmas with you through its little village in the colors of the Well, all meticulously handcrafted. It’s a thing of beauty! You’ll find this magical reproduction of the Promenade Wellington in the window at 3729, rue Wellington. Look closely at the details, and you’ll find many Verdun references, and maybe even a few familiar faces!

Have you been a good boy this year? Come meet and share a special moment with (the real!) Santa Claus, who will be at Pôle Well on Saturday, December 9, to enlighten the hearts and wishes of young and old alike.
He’ll be greeting Verdun’s little ones all day long in the warm, sparkling decor of Église Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs, located in the heart of Promenade Wellington!
